If you’re kind and caring, not only to others but more importantly to yourself, the universe recognizes this and responds to your kindness. In a magical way this helps you through your deepest sorrows to lift you back on to your path.
This is my feeling on how the universe plays its part. I call it “the universal exchange.” However, if you’re the sort of human being who only gives when demanding something in return, hurting others with no care for their feelings, the universe watches and delivers you the opposite ten-fold. Karma is just a word that develops negative emotions. For example, I often hear people say, ‘They’ll get their karma.’ I never like to hear these words because it sends negative emotion to that person. Speaking about karma is never positive. It usually follows anger which is no good for you in any way.
I feel it’s important to let go of anyone who may have caused you pain because usually they’re angry about their own issues and they find it easier to target others. Let the universe deal with this situation while you continue with your wonderful life.
I truly believe that we’re in this world to find our way back home and to learn and experience how to deal with pain along the way. When we lose a loved one, pain is always inevitable, but the suffering is optional. Yes, we need time to grieve but after a while the feelings of pain can either stay or we can choose to let go. This is not karma, it’s life and in our life we need to learn and feel certain things, including fear of ones future, fear of ones past, fear of being hurt or losing someone. We can only do our best, for when we pass to the other side I feel we are the only one to judge ourselves, for who knows us better than ourselves. It’s at this point that we can truly see what we did. Did we hurt people? Did we stay too long with someone who hurt us? Did we accept certain situations and move on? You’ll ask yourselves many questions to which you’ll say. ‘Did I do my best?’ If the answer is yes, then you’ll ascend in the spiritual sense, however if you look back and say ‘I feel I could have done better,’ then you’ll come back to learn that lesson all over again.
So make today your first day for the rest of your life and always say to yourself ‘I’m doing my best’, then listen deep within, for there lies the truth, there lies the answers to your higher self. We all know the difference between right and wrong and it’s not karma.
